ARTHUR’S ACADEMYを設立したのは、子どもたちが創造性を発揮し、グローバルな環境で活躍できる人材に必要なスキルとマインドセットを備えるための教育に取り組む必要があると考えたためです。私たちは子どもたちにとって楽しいカリキュラムを編成していますが、国際標準であるCEFRに基づく英語教育プログラムを通じてお子様の英語力を定期的に測定し、それぞれの習熟度に応じた規律ある教育を実践しています。また、世界で最も革新的な教育アプローチとされるイタリアのレッジョエミリアアプローチを用い、英国の音楽家やイタリアのデザイナーなど一流アーティストを迎え、お子様が本来持つ才能に多角的にアプローチするカリキュラムを構成しています。
ARTHUR’S ACADEMY began because we see a need for children to engage in learning which unlocks their imagination, creativity and provides children with the skills and mindset to be global citizens. We have selected and designed a program that is interesting and fun, so the learning is easy and enjoyable. It also assesses CEFR level and we review students' ability and progress throughout. Using the Reggio Emilia approach, one of the most innovative educational approaches, we invite artists such as British musicians and Italian designers, to teach, and unlock your child's natural talents.
How We Teach
私たちのカリキュラムはケンブリッジ大学のカリキュラムに基づいていますが、それぞれのお子様のポテンシャルを解き放つため、世界で最も革新的な教育手法とされるレッジョエミリアアプローチを採用しています。教師陣は、ケンブリッジ大学の教育学部で修士号を修め、英語圏の一流校を目指す小・中学生に英語を教えてきた経験と弁護士資格を有するDamien Arthurと、外資系金融大手の証券アナリストとしてのキャリアを経て、イタリアでレッジョエミリア教育を学んだAmi Arthurがタッグを組みます。
教育分野だけでなく、ビジネスの世界における成功体験のある教師陣により、実際に社会に出た際に必要となる論理的思考力や分析能力を鍛えることまでを見据えた授業を展開することが可能となります。各クラスは50分、詳細については、ぜひ一度、スクール併設のカフェに気軽にいらしてください。カリキュラム等についてご説明いたします。
Our curriculum is based on the Cambridge University textbooks, and the Reggio Emilia approach, which engages imagination and curiosity of your child. It is designed by Damien Arthur, a teacher, qualified lawyer and graduate of Cambridge, and Ami Arthur, who studied the Reggio Emilia approach in Italy after a successful career as a research analyst for U.S. investment banks. We teach English, logical thinking and analytical skills to help your child develop critical thinking. Classes are 50 minutes, and we recommend 2 hours a week for faster progress and retention.
